The Pima Community College softball team (47-9) opened play in the NJCAA Division II World Series on Wednesday at the Tyger River Park in Spartanburg, SC.

The Pima Community College softball team is heading back to the NJCAA Division II World Series as the seeding announcements were released on the NJCAA Network.

The Pima Community College Softball Team secured its third consecutive Region I Championship (Division I 2024, Division II 2025, 2026) after beating South Mountain Community College 1-0 in the final game of the tournament. The Pima Community College softball team (47-8) is heading back to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.

Freshman Isabel Mendoza (Cienega HS) hit a walk-off RBI single in the 9th inning as the No. 1 seeded Aztecs Softball team beat No. 2 South Mountain Community College 5-4 to advance to the Region I, Division II Championship Round. The Pima Community College softball team (46-7) had to play extra frames on Friday in the second day of the Region I, Division II Tournament on Friday at the West Campus Aztec Field.

Freshman Adriana Machado (Canyon del Oro HS) threw a complete game shutout, giving up nine hits with five strikeouts and three walks while sophomore Clarissa Figueroa (Mountain View HS) finished 1-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs as the No. 1 seeeded Aztecs Softball team opened the Region I, Division II Tournament with a 7-0 win over No. 4 Scottsdale Community College. The Pima Community College softball program produced a program-record of 11 representatives on the All-ACCAC Conference Teams.

Freshman Soleil Ponce (Sunnyside HS) finished the day 6-for-9 with four RBIs and two runs scored while fellow freshman Angelina Dehler (Empire HS) went 4-for-7 with five RBIs and a run scored as the No. 7 ranked Aztecs Softball team split at Phoenix College and captured the ACCAC Conference Championship. The Pima Community College softball team (44-7, 36-6 in ACCAC) closed out the regular season on Saturday at Phoenix College (37-11, 31-11).

Sophomores Jiselle Nunez (Tucson Magnet HS) and Belen Camacho (Pueblo HS) swept the ACCAC Division II Player of the Pitcher of the Week awards for the week of Apr. 19-25. The Pima Community College softball team (43-6, 35-6 in ACCAC) earned its 16th ACCAC conference sweep of the season on Saturday as it hosted Chandler-Gilbert Community College (15-28, 13-25) at the West Campus Aztec Field.

Freshmen Izabel Rodriguez (Sahuarita HS) and Adriana Machado (Canyon del Oro HS) were selected as the ACCAC Division II Player and Pitcher of the Week for Apr. 12-18. The Pima Community College softball team (41-6, 33-5 in ACCAC) surpassed the 40-win mark on Tuesday as it played an ACCAC conference doubleheader against Scottsdale Community College (20-25, 16-20).

Freshman Izabel Rodriguez (Sahuarita HS) and Kayla Hendrix (Canyon del Oro HS) combined to go 8-for-15 as the No. 7 ranked Aztecs Softball team split with No. 10 South Mountain Community College.
