Freshman Akira Jones took fifth place in the discus throw with a season-best throw of 43.19 meters (141-feet, 8-inches) as she earned NJCAA Division I All-American status at the NJCAA Division I National Championships. Sophomores Eliza Littlewood (Campo Verde HS) and Raelynn Fair (South Mountain HS) earned NJCAA Division I All-American status. The Aztecs women's track & field team scored a school-history making 285 team points as they claimed its first NJCAA Region I championship since 1996. Sophomore Eliza Littlewood was named Female Athlete of the Meet as she secured 42 points and won region titles in the Heptathlon and Triple Jump.
