The Pima Community College volleyball team’s 2025 season came to an end on Wednesday in its Region I, Division II Semifinals matchup at Mesa Community College (21-7).

Pima Community College volleyball players Maggie McReynolds (Mountain View HS) and Julia Baird received recognition from the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference as the duo were selected for regular season honors.

Freshman Rickki Hernandez (Mountain Ridge HS) finished with 12 digs and four aces but Aztecs Volleyball closed out the regular season falling at No. 12 Glendale Community College in four sets (20-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-19). The Aztecs are 10-13 overall and 6-6 in ACCAC conference play. The Pima Community College volleyball team (10-13, 6-6 in ACCAC) closed out the regular season on Friday as it played at Glendale Community college (16-4, 10-2).

Pima Community College volleyball player Julia Baird (Viewmont HS, UT) was a big part of two victories during the week of Oct. 19-25.

Sophomore Maggie McReynolds (Mountain View HS) had a team-high 12 kills to go with eight digs and three aces while fellow sophomore Julia Ford (Catalina Foothills HS) posted 16 digs and two aces as Aztecs Volleyball secured their spot in the Region I, Division II Playoffs after beating Chandler-Gilbert Community College in four sets (25-23, 25-23, 21-25, 25-22). The Pima Community College volleyball team (10-12, 6-5 in ACCAC) won its third straight match and secured a spot in the Region I, Division II Tournament on Wednesday at Chandler-Gilbert Community College (10-9, 4-7).

The Aztecs Volleyball team earned a straight set win over Phoenix College (25-16, 25-22, 25-23) in their final regular season home match at the Werst Campus Aztec Gymnasium. The Pima Community College volleyball team (9-12, 5-5 in ACCAC) evened out its ACCAC conference record on Friday after it hosted Phoenix College (5-18, 2-8) at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium.

Pima Community College volleyball player Maggie McReynolds (Mountain View HS) produced a stellar week on the court and was rewarded for her efforts by the ACCAC conference.

Sophomore Julia Baird finished with 10 kills and three aces while fellow sophomore Julia Weatherbie (Mountain View HS) closed out the match with 22 assists and five aces as the Aztecs volleyball team scored a n upset at No. 16 Scottsdale Community College (25-21, 25-16, 25-18). Freshman Alexia Hutchens (Salpointe Catholic HS) was one of three Aztecs in double figures with kills as she finished with 11 kills, three blocks and three aces but the Volleyball team fell in the tiebreaker to Central Arizona College (25-21, 23-25, 25-22, 25-27, 15-12).
