Aztecs Women's Basketball player Kiley Sours-Miller (Dream City) was named the 2025-26 NJCAA Division II National Player of the Year. She helped lead the Aztecs to their first NJCAA Division II National Championship and averaged 19.1 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks as she played and started in all 34 games. Pima Community College women’s basketball player Kiley Sours-Miller (Dream City) is in a class of her own as she received the top national player award from the NJCAA.

Aztecs Women's Basketball coach Todd Holthaus was named the NJCAA Division II Coach of the Year after he led the Aztecs to the program's first NJCAA Division II National Championship. The Pima Community College women’s basketball program gained another accolade from the NJCAA for the 2025-26 season, but this one goes to head coach.

The Pima Community College women’s basketball accolades continue to pile up as the NJCAA released its Division II All-American teams on Wednesday.

Pima Community College will host a celebration for the Women's Basketball Team on Thursday, March 26 at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium in recognition of the program's first NJCAA Division II National Championship. The meet & greet will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the event will start at 5:00 p.m.

The Pima Community College women’s basketball team will be celebrated this Thursday (March 26) as Pima will host an NJCAA National Championship celebration at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium.

The Pima Community College Women's Basketball team captured its first NJCAA Division II National Championship on Saturday after beating Kirkwood Community College 64-58. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team is on top of the world as it captured its first NJCAA Division II National Championship on Saturday in Hickory, NC.

The No. 4 seeded Aztecs Women's Basketball upset No. 1 Johnson County Community College 68-67 to advance to their second straight NJCAA Division II National Championship game. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (29-4) picked up the upset of the tournament on Friday as it handed Johnson County Community College its first loss of the season in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament Semifinal round.

Sophomore Kiley Sours-Miller posted a game-high 29 points and 10 rebounds for her 14th double-double of the season while freshman Lucy Fisher added 14 points and seven rebounds as the No. 4 seeded Aztecs Women's Basketball team beat No. 12 Union County (NJ) 88-75 to advance to the National Semifinal round. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (28-4) will make its second straight appearance in the NJCAA Division II Tournament Final Four.

Sophomore Kiley Sours-Miller scored a game-high 26 points on 12-for-19 shooting with nine rebounds while fellow sophomore Melicia Nelson fell short of a triple-double with 11 points, nine rebounds and eight assists as the No. 4 seeded Aztecs Women's Basketball team beat Des Moines Area Community College 71-64 to advance to the Elite Eight matchup on Thursday vs. No. 12 Union College of Union County at 2:00 p.m. (EST); 11:00 a.m. Tucson time. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (27-4) used a strong third quarter to pull away in its game against Des Moines Area Community College (26-9) to open the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.

The Pima Men's and Women's Basketball teams were each selected as the No. 4 seeds for their respected NJCAA Division II National Tournaments. The men will play in Danville, IL as their first game will be on Tuesday, Mar. 17 at 9:00 a.m. (CDT). The women will play in Hickory, NC and their first game will be on Tuesday, Mar. 17 at 10:00 (EDT). Both games will be play at 7:00 p.m. Tucson time. The Pima Community College men’s and women’s basketball teams found out their seedings as the NJCAA released its Selection Shows on Tuesday for the Division II National Tournaments.

The Aztecs Women's Basketball team became back-to-back Region I, Division II/West District Champions after defeating Mesa Community College 80-73 on Friday at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. Sophomore Melicia Nelson was named the game's Most Valuable Player after she finished with 16 points, nine rebounds, 13 assists and two steals. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (26-4) is heading back to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.

Sophomore post player Kiley Sours-Miller became a two-time ACCAC Division II Player of the Year while coach Todd Holthaus was selected ACCAC Division II coach of the Year. Sophomore Melicia Nelson was named First Team All-ACCAC/All-Region I and freshman Reigne Waugh earned Second Team All-ACCAC/All-Region I. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team was featured on the ACCAC Division II regular season awards.

The No. 1 seeded Aztecs Women's Basketball defeated No. 4 Phoenix College 78-55 in the Regio-n I, Division II Semifinals as freshman Lucy Fisher (Mesquite HS) finished with a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds while sophomore Cassie Coolidge (Sahuaro HS) hit a pair of important three-pointers in the first quarter and finished with eight points. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (25-4) is heading back to the Region I, Division II Finals for the 15th time in 17 seasons.

Pima Community College women’s basketball player Reigne Waugh played a big part in its regular season finale as she earned ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 22-28.

Freshman Reigne Waugh scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the No. 9 ranked Aztecs Women's Basketball team defeated No. 14 Mesa Community College 74-60 on Jim Rosborough Appreciation Night. The Aztecs locked up the No. 1 seed for the Region I, Division II Tournament. The Aztecs closed the regular season on a 12-game winning streak and are 24-4 overall and 16-2 in ACCAC confernece play. The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (23-4, 15-2 in ACCAC) won its 11th straight game on Saturday as it used a run between the second and third quarters to help take control against Glendale Community College (8-17, 3-13).

Sophomore Kiley Sours-Miller (Dream City Christian) finished with 19 points, nine rebounds and six blocks while fellow sophomore Melicia Nelson flirted with a quadruple double finishing with 16 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds and seven steals as the No. 10 ranked Aztecs Women's Basketball team beat South Mountain Community College 93-18.
