Pima Aztecs Women's Basketball National Championship celebration on Thursday, March 26 at West Campus Aztec Gym

Pima Community College will host a celebration for the Women's Basketball Team on Thursday, March 26 at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium in recognition of the program's first NJCAA Division II National Championship. The meet & greet will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the event will start at 5:00 p.m.

The Pima Community College women's basketball team will be celebrated this Thursday (March 26) as Pima will host an NJCAA National Championship celebration at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium.

The Aztecs defeated Kirkwood Community College 64-58 this past Saturday in the NJCAA Division II Finals in Hickory, North Carolina capturing their first National Championship in program history. They finished the season with their first 30-win season (30-4). They also earned the ACCAC Division II Regular Season Championship and won the Region I, Division II Championship.
