Pima Men's Cross Country closes 2025 season at NJCAA Division I National Championships
The Pima Community College men's cross country team closed out the 2025 season on Saturday at the NJCAA Division I National Championships in Fort Dodge, IA.
- The Aztecs finished in 24th place in the final team standings with a score of 598 points. Iowa Central Community College took first place with 58 points. Central Arizona College was fifth with 157 points.
- Freshman Kallen McCracken (Mountain Ridge HS) was the top finisher for the Aztecs as she took 84th place out of 213 competitors in the 8K (4.97-mile) race with a time of 27 minutes, 39.3 seconds.
- Sophomore Tayvien Biancuzzo (Mica Mountain HS) closed out the race in 89th place at 27:48.1 while freshman Jose Hernandez (Rio Rico HS) crossed the finish line in 144th place with a time of 29:06.1.
- Freshman Alec Guerra (Nogales HS) finished 145th at 29:06.1 and sophomore Noah Brunet (Ironwood Ridge HS) finished 160th with a time of 29:38.5.
The Aztecs will compete in the Indoor and Outdoor Men's Track & Field season starting in January.
