Pima Men's Cross Country closes 2025 season at NJCAA Division I National Championships

The Pima Community College men's cross country team closed out the 2025 season on Saturday at the NJCAA Division I National Championships in Fort Dodge, IA.

The Aztecs finished in 24^th place in the final team standings with a score of 598 points. Iowa Central Community College took first place with 58 points. Central Arizona College was fifth with 157 points.
Freshman Kallen McCracken (Mountain Ridge HS) was the top finisher for the Aztecs as she took 84^th place out of 213 competitors in the 8K (4.97-mile) race with a time of 27 minutes, 39.3 seconds.
Sophomore Tayvien Biancuzzo (Mica Mountain HS) closed out the race in 89^th place at 27:48.1 while freshman Jose Hernandez (Rio Rico HS) crossed the finish line in 144^th place with a time of 29:06.1.
Freshman Alec Guerra (Nogales HS) finished 145^th at 29:06.1 and sophomore Noah Brunet (Ironwood Ridge HS) finished 160^th with a time of 29:38.5.

The Aztecs will compete in the Indoor and Outdoor Men's Track & Field season starting in January.
