Ketch Sulpizio matches Pole Vault record; Mosley sets qualifier in Hammer Throw at GCC Invitational

The Pima Community College men's and women's track & field teams competed at the GCC Outdoor Invitational on Saturday at Glendale Community College.

• Freshman Ketch Sulpizio (Gila Ridge HS) matched the Pima school record in the Men's Pole Vault as he finished with a vault of 4.90 meters (16-feet, 0.75-inches). It tied Nick Mossberg's school record (16-0.75) set in 2004. Sulpizio's previous personal-best was 4.63 meters (15-2.25).
• In women's competition, freshman Morgan Mosley earned an NJCAA national qualifier in the Hammer Throw with a mark of 46.84 meters (154-feet, 4-inches). She set three personal-records on the day in the Hammer, the Discus (30.17 meters, 99-0) and the Shot Put (11.01 meters, 36-1.50).

The Aztecs will close out the regular season on Friday when they host the Pima Outdoor Invitational at the West Campus Aztec Track.
