Jackson Glueck's .600 batting average and six RBIs earns ACCAC Player of the Week honor
Pima Community College baseball player Jackson Glueck (Staley HS, MO) was a bright spot for the Aztecs during the week of April 5-11, and he was rewarded for his efforts.
- Glueck, a sophomore first baseman, was selected ACCAC Division II Player of the Week.
- He batted .600 (6-for-10) with six RBIs, five runs scored, four walks and one home run as the Aztecs got swept by South Mountain Community College but picked up a win over Mesa Community College to close out the week.
- Glueck is batting .401 with 63 hits in 157 at-bats. He has 46 RBIs, 35 runs scored, 21 walks, 13 doubles, eight steals and five home runs in 45 games played.
The Aztecs defeated Chandler-Gilbert Community College 16-6 on Wednesday. They are back on the road on Friday for a single game against GateWay Community College at Gene Autry Park in Mesa. Game time at 3:00 p.m.
