Pima volleyball drops non-conference match at San Diego City College

The Pima Community College volleyball team (4-10) stepped away from ACCAC conference play on Friday as they took a trip to California.

The Aztecs fell in straight sets 25-15, 25-21, 25-22 to San Diego City College (9-1).

Sophomore Kayli Riesgo (Cienega HS) finished the match with 21 assists, eight digs and one ace. Sophomore Victoria Davis had eight kills and 19 digs while sophomore Anissa Conrad (Sahuaro HS) posted 12 digs and one ace. Sophomore Gianni Romero (Sahuaro HS) finished with nine digs.

The Aztecs will play at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, CA on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
