Aztecs men's soccer finish undefeated at Kino North Stadium/North Grandstand

The Pima Community College men's soccer team (14-1-3) closed out their home schedule on Thursday at Kino North Stadium in a tightly contested match-up with Glendale Community College.

The No. 7 ranked Aztecs escaped with the 1-0 win over the Gauchos (7-7-3) as they finished the regular season with an 8-0-2 record at Kino North Stadium/North Grandstand. The Aztecs are 12-0-2 in their last 14 games.

Sophomore Julian Gaona's (Tucson HS) goal proved to be the difference maker as he scored in the 4th minute with an assist from fellow sophomore Tatsuma Yuki.

The Aztecs outshot the Gauchos 9-1 for the game as freshman goalkeeper David Silva finished with one save.

The Aztecs close out the regular season with two road games. They'll play at Mesa Community College on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
