Daniels and Aztecs men's golf lead after the third round at Region I Championship

The Pima Community College men's golf team maintained its lead after the third round of the Region I, Division I Championship on Saturday at the Gold Canyon Golf Resort.

The Aztecs shot a 303 for the day and are in first place with a team score of 916 (296-317-303). They hold a four-stroke lead over Scottsdale Community College (920) and a six-stroke advantage over Eastern Arizona College (922).

Sophomore Jonah Daniels (Chaparral HS) shot a one-over par 71 and leads the pack with a 224 (76-77-71). He leads by two-strokes over Eastern Arizona's Jarrod Mann (226-71-81-74).

Freshman Johnny Fiore (Marana HS) sits in third place with a score of 229 (72-80-77) while freshman Colton Gage (Cienega HS) is tied for seventh with 231 (73-81-77). Sophomore Nick St. Clair (Higley HS) is tied for 10th at 234 (75-81-78).

The final round of the Region I, Division I Championship begins at 8:30 a.m.
