The Pima Community College men's basketball team (9-1) earned a one-sided victory on Saturday against West Coast Wings Academy.
The No. 8 ranked Aztecs won 139-66. They led 71-35 at halftime and outscored West Coast 68-31 for the second half.
Freshman Abram Carrasco had a double-double off the bench as scored a team-high 21 points with 10 assists. Sophomore Keven Biggs (Cienega HS) hit his first four 3-pointers of the game and finished with 20 points on 7 for 11 shooting and 5 for 9 from three-point range.
Sophomore Ilunga Moise (Raymond S. Kellis HS) also had a double-double off the bench as he finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore Justin Bessard went 6 for 7 from the field and 4 for 4 from the foul line as he finished with 17 points.
Freshman Jeremiah Bailey had a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds to go along with six assists while freshman Nik Nehls (Cheshire Academy HS) contributed with 14 points. Sophomore Isaiah Murphy (Cienega HS) had 11 points.
The Aztecs are off for the holiday and will return as part of the Bruce Fleck Classic at the West Campus Gymnasium. They will play Utah State University-Eastern on Thursday, Dec. 28 at 5:00 p.m.
