The Pima Community College football team (0-1) opened the 2017 season on Saturday at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, TX.

The Aztecs couldn't put together rhythm on either side of the ball and had trouble keeping up with the Cardinals in their 57-3 loss.

Sophomore Coby Oswalt kicked a 40-plus yard field goal in the second quarter.

The Aztecs struggled moving the ball and had five turnovers for the game.

The Aztecs will play their home opener on Saturday against Soul Patrol at Kino North Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled to be at 7:00 p.m.
