- "This is amazing for the Athletics department," Pima Athletic Director Jim Monaco said. "It has given us notoriety as a viable entity for our businesses to invest in. It can only get better from here."
- Markus Beaumonte, the Director of Marketing for Chapman Automotive, has lived in Tucson for 30 years. He expressed that Pima gives students a great education and it "strengthens local economy, the job market and the community."
- "Chapman is proud to be a partner with Pima College Athletics," Beaumonte said. "We've been working on this for a little while and we're glad it came together. We're glad to be part of the local grassroots athletics programs. We're happy to support it.
- "We have been supporting local athletics for 10-12 years and this is a natural extension of this strategy. Pima is a proud, strong school and we're happy to be a part of it. It was very adventitious of them as well."
A couple ideas discussed with this partnership will be a walk of fame listing the All-Americans for each team leading up to the soccer, baseball and softball fields and renaming the area, "The Chapman Automotive Sports Annex at Pima West Campus."
